How to Claim Benefits of Apathbandhu Scheme in Telangana State Download Application Form and Procedure to Apply via

    The Apathbandhu scheme was launched on October 10th, 1998. This scheme provides insurance coverage in case of accident to below poverty line family. This scheme provides coverage in case of any family members accident during 2.10.1998 to 1.10.1999 . The time of this scheme is to be extended from time to time. This scheme benefits are to be provided to poor families. In this system, Government command non- life insurance companies to registered with Insurance Regulatory and Development authority, to provide opportunity to all market players in bids with possible lower premium. The committee is constituted with their members who are: Principal Secretary to government, Social Welfare department; Principal Secretary to Government, Fiancé (rand E department) member and Commissioner for disaster Management and ex- officio principal secretary to government. In order to provide benefit and relief to poor people rapidly, government have discontinued present insurance scheme and Ex- Gratia Apadhbandhu is arranged to pay District collectors. The payment of Ex –Gratia under Apathbandhu through district collector is adopted as trial in the year of 2013. It system is found economical and easy. The minister of Revenue, Mr. N Raghuveera Reddy instructed officer to make payment within 15 days. These instructions are to be given at the meeting of Disaster Maintenance.

    For applying this scheme, you have filled an application form. And for taking benefits of this scheme, beneficiaries have also to fill an application form. The procedures are as follows.

    First Step: Applicant has to visit to the nearest department of MeeSeva centre or on the official website of the department which is below given:

    Second Step: On the next given page, we can see services provided my MeeSeva in Telangana are to be given and for downloading application form click on ‘MeeSeva services forms’ option or directly go to the below given link:

    Third Step: On that page, departments name are to be given such as: aadhaar ,aarogyasri, agriculture, CDMA, civil supplies, commissionerate of industries , Department of Factories etc. for downloading application form of calming family benefit, click on the District Administration department.

    Fourth Step: From there you get an application form, download the application form, and take a print out of form in the prescribed format of A-4 size.

    Fifth Step: After taking print out of application form, fill all the asked details in the application form. All the details to be filled in application form should be correct; because details and spelling you fill in application form will be given in your documents. Details to be filled in application form should be in capital letters.

    Sixth Step: Attach all the documents to be required with application form. The list of documents are mentioned below..

    Seventh Step: After this visit to the nearest Meeseva center of your region /area, and submit the application form with documents. They will ask you for some small fee charges. After depositing fee charges for further required processes. Give your details like phone number to the department for giving information. They will give an acknowledge slip. It is used at the time of receiving certificate / documents / check.

    Eight Step: After this meeseva , forward your applicant to Tahasildar, then Tahasildar verify your application about application and documents genuineness.

    Ninth Step: After Tahasildar, satisfied then he forward the application to RDO officer, he verifies the request and then forwards it to the joint collector. The joint collector checks your application. If he seems your application correct then after certain time you will get benefits of family benefit scheme from meeseva center. There you have to show your acknowledgement slip.

    The Apathbandhu scheme is put into category B.

    There are two types of service charges to be charged on the Apathbandhu scheme. First is service charge and second is statutory charge. Service charge is RS 35 and statutory charges are nil. No statutory charges are applied.

    The authority approving the application form of Apathbandhu scheme is Joint Collector. The joint collector approves or rejects application form.
